Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Fasteners will utilize extensive product and procurement knowledge to source Fasteners at the most favorable price and terms for HYTORC Industrial Bolting Systems while simultaneously supervising and guiding the Procurement agents in the same tasks for their assigned vendors. The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Fasteners will build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers as well as internal and external stakeholders and leverage those relationships to achieve continuous supply and optimized inventory levels for the HYTORC.

  • Responsible for procurement and purchasing activities for the HYTORC Fastener Category. Prepare, review and issue purchase
  • Develop and implement purchasing plans and inventory targets for the Fastener Category.
  • Lead, supervise and coordinate the efforts of Procurement Agents in Direct tactical procurements in the Fastener Category.
  • Report and coordinate suggested adjustments to work distribution to Procurement Department Manager for review and implementation.

This role requires an engineering foundation and a desire to lead advanced machining centers..   • Pretesting of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for the sole purpose of proper form, fit and function.

Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and execute territory business plan and contribute to sales discovery.
  • Develop clients through product demonstration and product delivery.
  • Meeting monthly quotas and submitting regular reports.
  • Closing sales and overcoming objections.
